Mon approche est avant tout théorique fondamentale plutôt qu’appliquée. Je suis l’un des fondateurs de la “thermodynamique stochastique” depuis la fin du siècle dernier, et j’ai notamment introduit, pour la première fois en 1997, la chaleur échangée entre le système et l’environnement dans les processus stochastiques décrits par l’équation de Langevin. Je suis également l’un des fondateurs des matériaux/fluides actifs (c’est-à-dire le gel actif). Ces dernières années, je me suis concentré sur les “processus de martingale” dans les systèmes physiques et informatiques, tant classiques que quantiques.

My approach is primarily fundamental theoretical rather than applied. I have been one of the founders of “stochastic thermodynamics” since the end of the last century, and in particular I introduced, for the first time in 1997, the heat exchanged between the system and the environment in the stochastic processes described by the Langevin equation. I am also one of the founders of active materials/fluids (i.e. active gel). In recent years, I have focused on ‘martingale processes’ in physical and computational systems, both classical and quantum.
